Abstract

The work is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of neocolonialism as a modern form of global social order. In the course of the work the analysis of the phenomenon of neocolonialism and especially of its discursive component will be carried out. In particular, the dissertation aims to consider how the discourse of neocolonialism generates, sustains and deepens existing systems of inequality at the global level. This will reveal the importance of language in the formation of systems of inequality, trace the mechanisms and means of their formation, analyze the impact of language on social practices and predict future development. The purpose of this work is to identify the role and significance of discursive ways of constructing global systems of inequality and maintaining the neocolonial world order; to deconstruct the discourse of neocolonialism.
