Registration Policy

Code of Conduct

The ISA Forum of Sociology is committed to providing all participants with a welcoming and inclusive environment. We celebrate the diversity of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff and expect everyone to contribute to a respectful, professional atmosphere.

By participating in this event, including any RC/WG/TG pre-Forum events as well as official and unofficial social gatherings, you agree to:

  • Respect others regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or other personal characteristics.
  • Refrain from any form of harassment, intimidation, or disruptive behavior.

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Offensive comments or actions related to gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or physical contact.
  • Intimidating, threatening, or disruptive behavior.

Anyone violating this Code of Conduct may be removed from the event and prohibited from attending future ISA events. If during the Forum you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it to the ISA Secretariat at isa@isa-sociology.org or at the ISA booth at the registration area.

Liability Waiver and Travel Responsibility Clause

By registering for the ISA Forum of Sociology, participants acknowledge that they are attending voluntarily and assume full responsibility for their well-being. Participation may involve risks, including physical injury, illness, or exposure to diseases such as COVID-19.

Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Moroccan customs and laws and arrange comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical expenses, travel disruptions, or other incidents. All insurance costs are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Registration is non-transferable, and only the registered participant may attend. The ISA, its officers, agents, and the Venue’s staff are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or losses incurred during the event.

Photography and Video Material

By attending ISA events and activities, you give permission for the ISA to use images of you captured during the conference/events through audio, video, photo, and/or digital camera in publications and ISA websites for the production of material distributed for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to educational, archival, or promotional purposes. By registering, you waive any rights, including but not limited to compensation or ownership.

Participants always have the right to have their pictures removed. If you wish to have your picture or video removed, please contact us, and we will take action accordingly.

As participants, we request that you respect your colleagues and behave responsibly when photographing, recording, and engaging in social media activities. The ISA is not responsible for how attendees use privately recorded material.
